Boy, what a night we had last night. I am bushed. It wasn't as busy as we would have liked but everyone had a great time at the Agave Bar & Grill last evening. It was our opening night and we had about 15 people. Not all of them were singers, so the singers got to sing alot. But the audience response was great which made all of the singers feel great. The contest went well, we had 3 winners. In order they were, Mary - 1st place, Andre - 2nd place, and Annie - 3rd place. These 3 will perform in the finals on wednesday, Oct 28, 2009.
In case you didn't know, we've added some prizes to the kitty. We found celebrity vocal empowerment coach Dot Todman. She has graciously consented to donate $300 worth of vocal lessons for the 1st place winner and some of her training products as prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. She will also be acting as one of our celebrity judges. She will also give short critiques to the contestants.
Oct. 14th one of our guest judges will be film producer & photographer Adam from "Shots by Smitty" If you need your headshots updated - he's the man to go to.
