A light dinner menu is available for those that would like to dine & sing . Open mic begins at 8pm until the contest starts. There is a $5 entry fee to compete in the singing contest.

Our "Sing Your Heart Out" contest begins at 9:30 - 10:30 and open mic will resume immediately following the contest. Top 3 singers with the highest points will be selected by our judges to compete in the finals - where they will have a chance to win Cash & Prizes! He is published writer and a movie & TV series on his fasinating life is currently in early stages of production. Ty is the founder of the non-profit organization "Project Child Save"

Holly Hughes has worked in the film industry for over 15 years as a producer, writer, & production manager for films, television & commercials. (Forrest Gump, Carol Duval Show, & Coca Cola to name just a few.) Also a successful entrepreneur, Holly currently owns 2 successful businesses -Sweet Stampen & Holly's Folly

Oh, I almost forgot: we are starting a raffle: 25 cents a ticket. Every Wed. night you can purchase 1 or 100+ tickets...then on Wednesday Oct. 28, at 11pm we will have a drawing and one lucky winner will win ALL the $ collect in the ticket sales. Winner must be present at time of drawing. The last time we did this there was $736 in the kitty!

My Mouth 2 Days Later

well, it's been 2 days since i had my tooth extracted. it still hurts a little. i'm supposed to have the stitches removed on wednesday the 3oth. that is the same day that we start karaoke at the Agave Bar & Grill in Sunland, CA.
i hope that i will be able to open my mouth wide enough to sing and not tear anything in there.

i hope you all can join barbara and myself on wednesday night. our karaoke company is TJ Entertainment. we always have a lot of fun and we are holding a karaoke contest. one of the judges will be celebrity vocal empowerment coach Dot Todman. She is also donating free vocal lessons to the first place winner @ the finals in addition to our cash prize of $200.

Val's Voice Has Been Silenced...

for a few hours anyway. She had to go to the dentist and the novacain has not worn off yet!

well his band is performing tonight. OMG are they good. It's a mix of soul, British invasion, rock. They are incredible. Check them out at the Agave Bar & Grill tonight Friday Sept 25th. They'll be playing 'till 11pm.

Meanwhile, Val continues to drink through a straw while the rest of her crew goes out for some good food & music!

Karaoke Opening Night at the Agave Bar & Grill. It is located in the Angeles National Golf Club at 9401 Foothill Blvd in Sunland, CA. Karaoke starts at 8:00pm on wednesday Sept 30, 2009. There will be a contest held for 4 weeks. The finals will be on Oct 28, 2009. You may remember TJ Entertainment from the 90's. We had 20 shows per week back then. You may recall Valerie or Barbara.
